Zusammenfassung: | 222,121. Bergmann, M., Immend÷rfer, E., and Immend÷rfer (nÚe Goodson), A. Sept. 16, 1924. Treatment preliminary to tanning.-Hair or wool is removed from hides and skins by immersing the hides &c. in a solution containing sulphides of inorganic or organic nitrogen bases and free from active alkali sulphides. Suitable sulphide solutions may also be obtained by treating alkali sulphides with equimolecular or excess quantities of salts of inorganic or organic nitrogen bases. In an example, a depilating liquid is prepared by mixing commercial ammonium sulphide, 20 litres, with aqueous ammonia solution, 200 litres, in 20 hectolitres of water. Pyridine or carbamide may be substituted for free ammonia. |
