Zusammenfassung:Apparatus for the application of refractory materials, including a vertical feed tube (16) for refractory material, a spinner tube (22) encircling at least an upper portion of the feed tube (16) and provided with a spinner head (24) from which material issuing from the upper end of the feed tube (16) is flung outwards, a bearing bush (32) being provided between the feed tube (16) and the spinner tube (22). So that the apparatus will require very little power to drive it, means are provided for imparting a vertically upwards force to a lower portion of the feed tube (16) to relieve the bearing bush (32) of a part of the load which it would otherwise carry. These means comprise a plate (38, Fig.4) and an adjustment bolt (46).
