Zusammenfassung:	A binding needle assembly for an agricultural bale press comprises a binding needle (1) carried by a bearing block (2) which bears against a needle rocker shaft (4). Pivotably connected to the needle (1) or the block (2) are two tie rods (7) on which crossbars (10) are adjustably mounted. The crossbars (10) rest on counterbearings (12), which at the same time represent lateral abutments (5) for the block (2) and are securely fastened to the shaft (4). The desired angular setting of the needle is made by adjustment of a setting nut (14) on one of the tie rods.
