Zusammenfassung:	An oil separator, applicable in compression refrigerating machines, comprises a vertical cylindrical casing (1) with a sleeve (4) for feeding a liquid cooling agent and with sleeves (5, 6) for feeding and carrying away a vaporous cooling agent. The lower part of the casing (1) contains an oil collector (2) with a vertical annular partition (3) and a sleeve (13) for conveying away the oil. The sleeve (5) for feeding the vaporous cooling agent is introduced into the casing (1) from below and is located coaxially to the annular partition (3) so as to form, together with the latter, an oil seal, whereas the upper outlet end of said sleeve (5) is situated above the level of the liquid cooling agent in the casing (1) and is provided with a cylinder (8) with a butt-end opening (9) and side (10) openings.
