Zusammenfassung:	A multilevel parking garage for vehicles, which includes a stacker crane and shelf groups each having a large number of shelves and in which the vehicles are stored placed on pallets includes entrance/exit facilities on the ground floor under each shelf group, the entrance/exit and the corresponding shelf group being connected by a lifter, e.g. (12A). A first conveyor (10A) is disposed on the upper surface of the lifter, and a second conveyor (11A) and a pallet magazine (22) are disposed within the shelf group so as to connect with the first conveyor. While an unoccupied pallet is being conveyed from the pallet magazine to the first conveyor, a vehicle-bearing pallet is conveyed from the first conveyor to the second conveyor.
