Zusammenfassung:A prop-fan comprises a plurality of swept rotatable airfoil blades pivotally mounted to a hub for pitch change movement, and has a solidity ratio of 1.0 or more at the roots of the blade and less than 1.0 at the blade tips, the prop-fan being operable at or above critical Mach numbers. In order to reduce the tendancy of the blades to flutter, the leading edge of each blade radially outward from the mid-span position 80 of the blade, is defined by a plurality of points lying substantially in a single plane.
