Zusammenfassung: | A method for estimating the carrier frequency Fc of a single sideband signal (SSB) comprises sampling, with an A/D converter 2, a received SSB signal and dividing it into time blocks (a), (b), (c), Figure 3, each of which has a fundamental frequency P (P1, P2, P3) appertaining thereto; determining, for the time blocks, the fundamental frequency P with a pitch extractor 4, and the frequency of a spectral energy peak H (H1, H2, H3) occurring at a harmonic of the fundamental frequency P with a harmonic extractor 3; and determining possible values of the carrier frequency F according to the relation F = H +/- nP. The estimated carrier frequency Fc is the most frequently determined possible value of the carrier frequency F. |
