Zusammenfassung:	A press comprises a piston (2) which is guided by rollers (8, 9) in a channel (1). To ensure stable guidance of the piston guide rails (7) are arranged in the channel (1), a first one of which is mounted on a blade side of the piston at the base of the channel and which guides two rollers (9) with vertical axes and one roller (8) with a horizontal axis. A second rail (7), which guides a roller (8) with a horizontal axis, is fastened to the channel side wall at the blade side at the height of the upper edge of the piston (2). A third rail (7) is arranged at the other side wall of the channel and guides two rollers (8) with horizontal axes, one of which runs in the third rail and the other of which runs on the rail.
