Zusammenfassung:In a vehicle suspension wherein the wheels are carried by pistons acting in associated cylinders, the cylinders of a pair of wheels (at one end or side of the vehicle or diagonally opposite) are interconnected such that the upper chamber of each cylinder is piped to the lower chamber of the other cylinder. A valve (Fig. 4) is provided in the interconnection which can be positioned to allow flow between the cylinders, so that suspension movement is equal at each wheel or can be positioned as shown to connect each cylinder's upper chamber with its own lower chamber, thus providing only shock absorption when equalising or levelling is not required. The valve can be operated manually, by turning the steering wheel, by tilt, or by electronic sensor.
