Zusammenfassung: | The quality of a gasoline obtained by catalytic cracking is improved by contacting the gasoline with a crystalline metal silicate which after one hour's calcination in air at 500 DEG C, has the following properties: a) thermally stable up to a temperature of at least 600 DEG C, b) an X-ray powder diffraction pattern in which the strongest lines are the four lines mentioned in Table A. c) in the formula which represents the composition of the silicate expressed in moles of the oxides and which, in addition to SiO2, includes both Fe2O3 and Al2O3, the SiO2/Fe2O3 molar ratio is 25-90 and the SiO2/Al2O3 molar ratio is 250-1200. |
