Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	A device for controllably delivering a solid, paste or liquid material in biological, environmental or industrial systems. The device (1) is in the form of a tubular body (2), one end (3) of which is open to allow egress of the material and the other (9) is closed. A gas-tight plunger (5, 15) slides within the body by virtue of spring driving means (6) and gas from the external environment which enters the closed end (9) of the tubular body by way of a gas permeable membrane and acts together with the spring (6) on the rear face of the plunger. The plunger (5, 15) controllably ejects the material (8) from the open end (3) of the device. The device has particular use in the delivery of therapeutic and/or prophylactic materials to animals.
