METHOD OF PREPARATION OF REINFORCING INSERTIONS

Reinforcing steel insertions for iron castings are covered with a layer of steel. For that purpose the insertion is immersed at least twice into a steel melt heated up to a temperature which is by 15 to 60 higher than the melting temperature and is kept inside the melt for 3 to 15 seconds each time.
