Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	A lightweight knock-down transport container is usable for rail and road transport and comprises a base structure 1 formed of two side bearers 2 and 3 having standard lift sockets 6 and turn-lock couplings 7 joined by floor cross members supporting decking. The arrangement allows the container to be carried on a rail wagon through support of the side bearers 2 and 3 and on a road trailer through support of the cross-members by the chassis of the road trailer extending between the side bearers, thus reducing overall height. The container has detachable side frame members 10 joined by cross-members 17 and bracing members 12 with tubular top members 29 therebetween. The sides are formed by removable gates 30 and grilles 33.
