Zusammenfassung:	The device comprises a base (1), a carriage (6) movable in X and Y coordinates by means of guide-ways (2, 3), a swivel head (9) for mounting an echo signal sensor, and a means for coordinate orientation of the entire device at the point being examined with respect to at least two biological landmarks on a patient's body, which landmarks do not practically change their location. The aforesaid means has a linear coordinate extension rule 16 in combination with an angle setting device 17, cooperating with a depending finger (18) for referencing said means to each biological landmark, the carriage 6 and the linear/angular members 16, 17 cooperating together to position the head 9 with the echo sensor and sockets 12 holding electric sensors relative to the point on the patient's body to be examined.
