Zusammenfassung:A process for the preparation of N-substituted amides of acrylic or methacrylic acid, wherein acrylic or methacrylic acid is reacted with the amine according to the following procedure: in a first step, the acid is reacted with the amine in a homogeneous phase, at about 75- 140 DEG C, and in a second step condensation is effected, with elimination of the water formed, at about 150-250 DEG C.
