Spring wheels with sectional outer guided members. -Each tread member A, guided within a channel rim, is supported by two helical springs, the outer E being in compression, and the inner D in tension. The inner end of the inner spring is fixed to the rim through a block g. The outer end of the inner spring is screwed around a block K, which is internally screwed and engaged by a bolt passing thruugh the tread plate. The two springs are thus adjusted simultaneously and the block K locked by the engagement of a polygonal boss k with a recess a in the tread plate. Four legs a on each plate are guided against the side plates and transverse stays C. A projection a on each leg and a projection c' on the stay prevent the plate from falling out of the rim in case the spring D breaks.
