Zusammenfassung: | 23,673. McLean, H. N. A. Dec. 8, 1913, [Convention date]. Closet seats and seat-lids.-Relates to cleaning and drying appliances, and consists in fitting a sparge pipe G to spray the whole of the upper surface of the seat and a wiper A' actuated by the cover M. The basin A is formed with a flange B, a packing-ring on which forms a tight joint with the closed cover and prevents escape of water. When the cover is lowered, a valve L in the supply pipe I is opened, released, and held open by a dashpot V for a short time, during which water is sprayed over the seat. The seat is pivoted on a swiveled coupling between the inlet and spray pipes, and may be made of enamelled steel. |
