Spring wheels with continuous outer rigid ring and metal springs other than helical and volute springs.-In wheels of the kind in which the outer wheel member such as G slides between hub flanges C, D connected by bolts F, on which are wound the eyes of spiral springs contained in pockets in the outer member, the pockets are formed by a series of cylindrical tubes L secured by riveting or welding to the inside of the outer member. Adjacent tubes may also be secured together. Each tube contains several springs separated by washers N.
