Grates.-A device to be attached to the bottom grate of a domestic fire-place in place of the ordinary front bars so as to provide a more open fire consists of a grating B with a tongue A which is thrust between two bars of the grate bottom C, and is secured by a pin E in a hole D, so that the grating B may be moved backwards or forwards to vary the size of the grate. There may be more than one hole D, to enable the inclination of the grating B to be varied, and to allow for various thicknesses of grate bars C. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 645/04. |
