10,025. Fieldhouse, W. J. April 29. Steerring-mechanism.-The front axle of a toy motor-car or like carriage is made in three parts, a central part e, and end parts e pivoted thereto at e'. Pivoted to the central part is a central lever k, the ends of which actuate, by means of swivel connexions, short levers l pivoted on the pins f of the axle joints and adapted to swing the wheels a about these joints. The swivel connexions between the levers comprise plates m pivoted to the ends of the central lever, and carrying grooved pins m which engage the sides of the levers l. The central lever has a projecting rod i engaged by a loop h at the end of the steering-rod h.
