Jan. 27 Renewable calks and treads; fixing.-An overshoe having calks 4, 5, 6 is provided with a stay member 18 which extends upwards and underlies the central part of the heel, and with a pair of universally-mounted toe-stays 12. The toe stays are provided with elongated eyelets adapted to be slipped over elongated heads 11 on lugs 10 carried by the toe calk 4. The toe calk is strengthened by a stud 7 and is formed with a bead 8. A stud 9 abuts against the ordinary shoe 2.
