Planes, construction of.-The rearwardlycurved main supporting-planes of aeroplanes have a leading edge 5 of circular or elliptical shape and the back edge 6 of similar shape, the ends 7 of the wings being each lined or curved reversely from the rear edge. The front edge parts 8 of the wings are turned downwards. The wings may taper towards their tips and for this purpose the centres of configuration of the front and rear edges are arranged eccentrically.
