Zusammenfassung: | 13,227. Bonk, T., Rogowski, J., and Bogatzki, J. June 5. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Fixing. - A nailless horseshoe 12, Fig. 1, is fixed on the hoof by means of a front extension 2 and a rear wing 4 hinged at 3. A metal securing - ribbon 13, closed at the front by a screw 11 connected by a screw-connexion 8, 9 with the extension 2, is depressed into a recess 5 in the wing 4 and secured there by a bolt 7, Fig. 2. The links 15 of a U-shaped member pass through eyes 20, 21 in the wing, and a screw 16 inserted through the member and a hole 16 in the wing locks the member and the bolt 7 in position. A cushioning-bolster 10 is secured against the hoof by screws 17, 18, 19, which also keep the ribbon from displacement. A projection 4 prevents the wing from being unduly pressed against the hoof. |
