[Published under Section 91 of the Act.] Moving and changing apparatus.-In a decorative or advertising apparatus, either illuminated or not, coloured or colourless liquid drops, separated by gaseous bubbles, are circulated through transparent tubes f, Fig. 6, or passages b , Fig. 7, shaped in such a manner as to present a design. One or more reservoirs with cocks are employed, and can be regulated or opened or closed periodically so as to vary the length of the liquid and gaseous columns. The supply valve may be a rotatable pipe f with an opening j, which periodically engages supply-pipes h', h . Where the designs are formed of passages b , Fig. 7, in a plate k, they may be closed by a back-plate n and fed by pipes b , which may be hidden from view by suitably-apertured front-plates.
