Zusammenfassung: | 26,736. Fisher, E., and Peck, F. S. Nov. 29. Rotary cylindrical valves comprise a casing A having inlet and outlet B, C and a hollow cylindrical valve seat M having a serrated port 0, Figs. 3 and 4. The valve member comprises a segment of a hollow cylinder R having a straight edge S and a serrated edge T. Caps I and H are removable from the casing and are interchangeable so that the position of the valve member may be reversed. The relative positions of the serrations of the seating and valve member in the ordinary and reversed positions of the valve member are shown in Figs. 3 and 4 respectively, and correspond to different rates of valve-closure, an intermediate effect being obtained by the closing of the valve by the straight edge S. |
