Controlling superheaters. - Consists of an ejector device for assisting the draught and improving the combustion in steam-generator and other furnaces and in one of its applications, shown in Fig. 5, forms part of a superheater arrangement. The ejector, which consists of a refractory body with an inlet a at one side and an axial nozzle d for steam or other motive fluid, lies on the flue bottom and when in operation draws hot gases through the superheater chamber.
