Zusammenfassung: | 17,313. Fletcher, J. E. July 29. Separators.-A current of steam or gas containing particles of water or oil to be separated passes into an enlarged part of the main conduit a, which is divided into upper and lower chambers i, b by a diaphragm c. The denser portion of the current flowing along the lower part of the conduit a gravitates into the chamber b. An ejector e maintains a reduced pressure in this chamber and ejects the heavier portion of the current through a pipe h. The drier portion of the current passes through the chamber i to a condenser or other place of discharge. |
