Breech actions, revolving-chamber. - Relates to guns having a revolving chamber and superposed barrels, and consists in forming the revolving cylinder with two concentric series of chambers 5, 6 arranged alternately, so that one of either series can be made to register with its respective barrel. The revolving cylinder is operated by means of a ratchet device comprising an hexagonal spindle 8 fitting in a corresponding socket in the cylinder and two ratchet - wheels 10, 10 fixed to this spindle, which can be moved axially so as to bring one or the other of the ratchet-wheels into gear with a pawl 12 on the trigger. The hammer has two pins 26, 27 for discharging the two series of cartridges.
