When the parts 1, 4, 6 are assembled, they are keyed together by the insertion of the part 5, which is wedge-shaped longitudinally. Screws 7, 9 may be provided to force the part 5 outwards for the purpose of stretching the legging. The top of the legging may also be stretched, without undue strain on the calf, by means of a pivoted piece 11 actuated by the screw 8.
