Legging trees.-An appliance for use in blocking leather leggings &c., and applicable also as a legging tree, is built-up of four parts, as shown in crosssection in Fig. 5, the parts when in use fitting together without any intervening gaps or openings which might crease or mark the leather. The rear or calf portion 1 is formed with a longitudinal dovetailed groove or recess to receive the dovetailed tongues on the rear of the lateral foreparts 4, 6. When the parts 1, 4, 6 are assembled, they are keyed together by the insertion of the part 5, which is wedge-shaped longitudinally. Screws 7, 9 may be provided to force the part 5 outwards for the purpose of stretching the legging. The top of the legging may also be stretched, without undue strain on the calf, by means of a pivoted piece 11 actuated by the screw 8.
