The wheels 11, Fig. 2, are mounted on roller bearings 11, Fig. 6, and carry triangular cutting-knives 13 and knives 12, which also fan the snow into shoots 22, Fig. 1. These have hoods 24, which are mounted on ball bearings and are rotated by a pinion 28 on a shaft 29, the shoots being in pockets formed by the side walls 8 and front walls 10.
