The sides and partitions are formed with apertures to receive cores formed of two collapsible cuneiform pieces 8, Fig. 8, the sides 11 of which are operated by toggle devices 13, Fig. 6. In forming trapezoidal blocks, interior walls 10 are provided. For making angle-blocks, an auxiliary mould 14, Fig. 10, is mounted above the mould proper and is adjustable along guides.
