Zusammenfassung: | 9391. StucklÚ, H. W. de. Sept. 6, 1909, [Convention date]. Zinc sulphide precipitated by alkali or alkalineearth sulphides from alkali or alkaline-earth zincates is purified from zinc oxide by the following methods, so that, on dehydrating it does not assume a yellow colour. The zinc oxide is removed by heating to about 155‹ C. under pressure with ammonium sulphydrate or by calcining with sulphur and an alkali fluosilicate, or by treating with hydrochloric or hydrofluoric acid and with sulphuretted hydrogen. If hydrochloric acid is used, alkali or alkaline earth must be added to the wash-water to eliminate zinc chloride. Specification 575/08 is referred to. |
