Zusammenfassung: | 7026. Hartley, J. W. March 21. Vanning - machines.- In an ore-concentrating table of the type in which the table is reciprocated relatively to a supporting-frame which may be canted to different angles, a constant relation is maintained between the centre line of the table and the reciprocating mechanism by pivoting the supporting-frame on fulcra arranged in alinement with the centre line of the reciprocating - mechanism. In the form shown, the table a is supported by links b carried by joists c connected by two bearers d supported in conical bearings e on standards f. The table is canted by a hand-wheel l. The frame of the table comprises longitudinal members p, q, cross-beams o, longitudinal tiebars u, and cross-stays r, which, when put in tension, raise the corresponding edges of the table. The lower edge of the table is additionally supported by stays u from one of the joists. Set-screws g allow the longitudinal tilt of the table to be adjusted. A thrust link 17 relieves the cover-blocks of the outer bearing y of the reciprocating mechanism from the upward thrust of the toggle link 7. |
