Self-levelling apparatus.-A ship's table, of the kind wherein the top is pivotally mounted on a pair of brackets, which are themselves mounted on supports permitting movement in a plane at right-angles to the movement of the table top, and is also weighted, consists of a cross-piece 8 journaled in the standards 7, and a second cross-piece 11 and arranged transversely to the cross-piece 8, having the top 12 pivoted on it by brackets 13. A weight 18, supported from the table top by rods 23, maintains the top of the table horizontal. Specifications 2607/79 and 5939/04 are referred to. |
