Zusammenfassung: | 7504. Sanderson, W. P. April 4. Door holders.-Relates to the operating-mechanism of door holders of the kind in which a stem carrying at its foot a grip pad is forced down by a spring working in a tubular guide casing, and is put out of action by a lever pivoted on the door. The stem a of the holder is joined by a rod f to a pivoted lever e, which is bifurcated at f and mounted in a frame plate having double cheeks e , e3. When the holder is out of action, the lever e rests against a stop g..The stem a is provided with a hollow block a' into which fits a rubber pad a . A spiral spring c is placed between a collar c on the stem and the screw cap c , which acts as a cover for the tubular casing b'. Smooth working within the casing is ensured by providing a collar band guide d. A hole d' is made in the stem so that by placing a pin in it the spring may be compressed when the holder is being adjusted on the door. |
