Door holders.-Relates to the operating-mechanism of door holders of the kind in which a stem carrying at its foot a grip pad is forced down by a spring working in a tubular guide casing, and is put out of action by a lever pivoted on the door. Smooth working within the casing is ensured by providing a collar band guide d. A hole d' is made in the stem so that by placing a pin in it the spring may be compressed when the holder is being adjusted on the door.
