Zusammenfassung: | 27,612. Snell, E. Scott-, and Heard, R.E. Dec. 14. Carburetted-air burners.-A burner for brazing, soldering, &c., consists of a bulb or bellows D and an air reservoir E of the ordinary scentspray type, attached to, and delivering air to a chamber B on an air-carburetting device similar to that described in Specification No. 2030, A.D. 1902, [Abridgment Class Gas, Manufacture of]. In the construction shown, the air from the bellows D passes through a tube E' to a nozzle F , Fig. 3, in the chamber B at the 'rear of the burner B , and induces a flow of air through absorbent blocks A in the carburettor. In the chamber B, this carburetted air mixes with the air from the bellows D, and burns at the burner B . The proportions of the atmospheric air and carburetted air may be varied by rotating the sleeves A , B in the outer casing A . |
