Drawing-boards; easeds; colour boxes; colour pans; palettes.-A support for a drawing-board, canvas or other article comprises a pair of spring clips b adapted to embrace the legs of the user and to support the lower edge of the board &c. A leg c, provided with a clip or the like d, supports the upper edge of the board. Each clip b may have a second smaller clip b , Figs. 1 and 2, which engages the edge of the board, or a screw which is driven into the board. The clips may be arranged to slide along a rod f, Fig. 6, secured to the board. The clips may be secured either directly or by means of the rod f to the underside of a support i, Fig. 5, on which are mounted a colour box j and wells or receptacles l, m. The part i carries hollow standards k in which rest pins k carrying clips k , which engage the edge of the board. The pins k may be pivotally or otherwise secured to screws or the like fixed to the board. |
