Zusammenfassung: | 12,481. Harrison, E. H. May 29. Tripod stands.-A tripod camera stand is provided with an adjustable telescopic attachment c, e, g, by which the camera may be raised and lowered independently of the tripod. The camera is attached to the innermost tube or rod g, and during extension each of the inner tubes is clamped by a separate screw. The outermost tube is a socket c detachably attached to a tripod-bead b. Rotation of the tubes is prevented either by a feather engaging in grooves or by the triangular or other shape of the tubes. The clamping-screw itself may take the place of the feather. To steady the camera further, other telescopic tubes may be attached to the sides of the camera, sliding through brackets attached to the tripod-head b. The central telescopic attachment may be replaced by three or more telescopic tubes passing through brackets carried by the tripod-head. |
