Filing papers &c. -The back of a loose-leaf binder is made in three portions h i n g e d together, namely a central portion a and side portions b, c to which the covers b , c are attached. Locking- platesf are pivoted to the central portion a of the back, and are provided with notches g which engage studs h on the side portions b, c. One of the locking-plates may be provided with a lock i, the bolt of which projects into the portion a of the back. Posts d are attached to one side portion and project through holes in the other side portion. A follower-bar j is provided, consisting of two plates j between which slides a cam-operated plate k. |
