Zusammenfassung: | 8624. Lohse, O. April 13. Roundabouts. -A series of model passengercarrying balloons is arranged to ascend and descend upon a rotating motor-driven framework to which are also attached bicycles at the ends of radial arms. The motor-driven framework a, Fig. 1, has radial arms b which loosely engage and drive carriages c, Fig. 2, round a circuitous track d. Balloons g, Fig. 1, are attached by ropes f which pass over the carriages to the central column. As the-carriages c approach the central-column, the balloons descend, and vice versa. The bicycles are arranged in pairs flexibly linked together at the end of radial arms v, Fig. 1. Springs r, Fig. 3, arranged, as shown prevent the wheels from. flying outwards so as to leave the tracks, which are raised at the outer edges for the same purpose. |
