Displaying.-Hats are displayed at a suitable angle on a stand, comprising of a resilient metallic band 1 having a number of lugs 2 on which the rim of the hat may rest. The band 1 is attached to telescopic bars 3, 4 which may be clamped together by means of a screw 6. The bar 4 is turned vertically down near the centre of the band 1, and is attached to the forked cap 8 by a setscrew 9. An internal screw 10 is utilized to attach the device to display standards. According to the Provisional Specification, a quadrant plate is attached to the bar 4 and has a series of notches at its edge to engage with a pin on the supporting- stand for the purpose of securing the hat at the desired angle. |
