Emptying bottles &c.-A tubular container a for semi-fluids &c., is fitted with a piston e, which is raised by a flexible strip f, wound on a spindle s, and forces the contents out of an orifice d. The wheel h, by which the spindles is turned, is formed with sharp points h', which prick the user if an attempt is made to turn it in the wrong direction. The amount of material remaining in the tube may be indicated by marks on the strip f, or by a rod sliding through the cover c and pushed upwards by the piston e.
