Zusammenfassung: | 23,520. Narischkine, B. G. Nov. 15. Hose reels.- Comprises improvements in the type of buoy normally housed in a recess in a submarine vessel and adapted to be disengaged and rise to the surface in the event of accident. Within the float are fitted two drums upon which are wound a flexible air-tube and a cable. The drums are geared together by a chain, the one on which the air-tube is wound being a little in advance of the other so that the cable takes all the tension. To indicate to the crew when the cable and tube have been paid out, an electric signal switch, Fig 9, is fitted to the axle of one of the drums. When the cable is wound, the spring y lifts the switch x and bridges the contacts z, thus ringing a bell. |
