Zusammenfassung: | 13,677. Bonvillain, P. June 16. Moulding. - In a machine for superposing the top and bottom parts of a moulding-box for a sand mould made by hand or by machine, and for pushing out the moulds, a table 31 for carrying the bottom part of the box is attached to a hydraulic ram, the stroke of which is varied by a nut on the threaded end 27. The two parts of the box are provided with holes 17 for sliding on rods 23 fixed to the uprights 22, and have projections 18, 19 so arranged that the upper box rests on the seats 24, while the lower part slides between them. To extract the mould, the table 31 moves in the moulding-boxes, the upper one of which is fixed on the seats by bolts 32, and the lower one prevented from filing by spring pincers mounted on the rods 23 or by a guide-rod connected at its lower end to a wire passing over a grooved pulley and provided with a balance weight. To limit the stroke of the ram, the table carries a vertical rod with a movable socket, which strikes a lever keyed on the shaft of a cam controlling the inlet valve, a second lever on the same shaft being provided to open to exhaust. |
