Zusammenfassung: | 23,266. Haggar, W. T. Oct. 27. Signallamps ; oil lamps or lanterns; cowls.-In hand signal or other lamps, more particularly of the kind described in Specification No. 6125, A.D. 1900, the air supply is admitted through holes h, in the casing a, below a flange i, and through an annular passage k formed between a plate j and the reservoir c. The air finally passes to the burner b through perforations l in a flange c , fixed to the reservoir and supported by the flange i. The outlet for burnt gases is an annular passage between a hinged top f and the head d of the lamp, and downdraught in the chimney e is prevented by an inverted cone n, the base of which is about level with the top of the head, forming a wind guard, and attached either to the chimney, or to the hinged top. |
