Improvements in connection with Burners for Testing Gas

Photometers.-To allow various gases, such as coal gas, carburetted water gas, &c., to be tested without detaching and changing the burner, a series of burners I, having orifices suitable to the various gases to be tested, are arranged around a barrel E, which, when the nut G is loosened, can be turned so as to bring the tube H of the particular burner required opposite the single outlet D in a hollow plug B, which is mounted on the gas-supply pipe A.
