A New or Improved foot Prop or Leg Rest

19,674. McNair, A. L. B. Oct. 2. Bedsteads; leg-rests.-Relates to a leg-rest or foot-prop for use in bed. To a base-board a is screwed a pillar g in which is adjustable a screw f having a head i to which is loosely secured a curved plate b, a spring h being interposed. The plate a is placed against the footboard of a bedstead, and the user places his feet against the part b. The rest may be used in a vertical position as a leg-rest, in which case the ends of the part b support the bed-clothes and take the weight thereof from the legs.
