Zusammenfassung: | 6312. Doulton, H. L. March 26. Water-waste preventers.-Fig. 1 shows a section of a regulator valve for flushing purposes. A double piston C, E, works in a chamber A, the npper end of which communicates by a timepassage H with the supply pipe Z, and is fitted with a pressure-relieving valve G. The lower piston E works in a short cylinder D. To deliver a flush, the valve G is operated to relieve the pressure above the pistons, which then rise and open the flushing-valve, which again closes by the passage of water to the top of the cylinder A. An after-flush may be delivered through passages X regulated by a screw W. The flush may exhaust the space between the two traps of a siphon closet through the pipe J. |
