Zusammenfassung:3722. Eynon, J., Richardson, W. S., and Powell, E. J. W. Feb. 21. Anchors.-In anchors of the "tripping" class, in which the head is capable of a partial rotary movement relatively to to the shank, the flukes f are brought with rapidity and certainty into position by gripping the ground, and the grip upon the ground is increased, by the engagement with the ground of additional trips," projections, or serrations l, nz, n provided upon the head of the anchor. These additional trips, which come into operation when the anchor is in such a position on the ground that the trips k on the crown h are out of action, may be applied to the anchors described in Specifications No. 5071, A.D. 1893, and No. 1347, A.D. 1895, or to anchors of the tripping class generally, and the parts which carry the trips may be formed in one with, or attached to, the head in any convenient manner.
